Wants to Know How to Update Wardrobe on a Small Budget

Dear Pink Stiletto,
I have purchased some wonderful outfits in my closet that I wear all the time, but I want to update my wardrobe so that my outfits aren't always the same. The problem is that I don't have a large amount of money to spend on new clothing. Any advice?

Dear Tight Budget,
Who says you need to buy new clothes to make new outfits? Buying entire outfits is fun, but it usually takes a big toll on your wallet! Instead, focus on buying low cost accesories such as jewelry, purses, etc. If you think you need a new piece or two, there are many stores that have great clothing and shoes on discount, such as Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, and Ross. Also, don't be afraid to add a little DIY to your outfits! For example, a long black skirt can be pulled up and belted to create a little black dress! Adding jewels or embroidery to jeans, skirts and shoes is another fun way to change your look. There are so many things you can do with the outfits you already have; you just need a little creativity!
